Users the messaging app will now be able to both send and receive cryptocurrencies thanks to the Lite.Im bot. There will only be two cryptocurrencies available for the time being but ass the system starts to gain traction, other digital tokens are anticipated to join in.
This new feature will help bring Bitcoin, Litecoin and cryptocurrencies to a mainstream audience. In allowing everyone to use the currency in the same way they deal with traditional money.

For those who are eager to be first in to experience the new system will need to add the Lite.IM WhatsApp bot and follow the on-screen instructions. Aside from allowing cryptocurrency transactions, this add-on will offer a variety of other useful options.

“Users can earn cryptocurrency through the referral program and can set their default coin, from either Bitcoin or Litecoin. They can also customise it with their selected language, and password.”
In the near future, the system will also allow the transfer of Ethereum and Zulu’s own token, ZTX.
